Oropharyngeal candidiasis

- Screen for HIV unless:
- infant
- known immunodeficiency/ immunosuppression
- recent use of inhaled steroids.
- For immunosuppressed patients, fluconazole 200mg/ day is recommended. Maintenance therapy may be necessary.

Occasionally non-C. albicans yeast
