Risk factors for yeast infection:

• yeast seen intracellularly or presence of pseudohyphae
• patient on immunosuppressive therapy
• multiple previous antibiotics
• upper GI tract perforation
• surgically treated pancreatitis
• recurrent intra-abdominal infection/bowel perforation.
